Wonderful handcrafted French artisan figurine created by Lise Berger for Samjons d'Art.

This detailed figure depicts a traditional French farmer carrying a wooden rake, walking stick, satchel, and gourd beneath a wool cape and broad-brimmed hat. Every figure was individually hand-crafted with a sculpted face, hand-sewn clothing, and mounted on a finished wooden base.

The original brass plaque reads:

The wooden base is hand signed Lise Berger and numbered 28.
